PRICE - Privacy in Educational Censuses

When the new Brazilian privacy legislation comes into force, entities can be held legally responsible for the quality, confidentiality and privacy of data they keep about individuals. INEP, a research institute of the Ministry of Education, publishes very detailed educational data annually.

The PRICE project (Privacy in Educational Censuses) is a study commissioned by INEP on how to transform the data to be published in a way that the privacy of students is not violated, while maintaining its utility for statistical research.
